17th December
Today is a staff training day but Lawrence, myself and Annie decided that it would be best to come and film as we would have all the time that we needed as there would be no lessons going on.
We was all in school for 10am and we got everything filmed that we needed for the second half of our music video.
I uploaded all this onto the macs and watched it back but Im not happy with the way that it all came out so I am planning to film again when we go back to school in January.

Thursday 9th December
Today Lawrence and I was meant to start filming but due to a citizenship lesson during the time that we had media and having no free lessons on this day, we could not film. As well as this Lawrence forgot to book out the camera which was no problem as we couldn't film anyway.
Tuesday 14th December
Annie joined our group today as she was struggleing to work on her own, I have no problem with this as I know that she is a hard worker and will make sure that she catches up and helps.
Today during media we started to film our music video at last! It may have taken two hours but we got every shot filmed for our first section of our music video. The only problem we had was that we could not film in the senic doc where we wanted to as students were in there doing art work and work experience students were working on the computers. We waited untill we could find Henry Ward to make sure that it would be fine to shoot in the gallery. We were unable to shoot in the part of the gallery that had the best light as the work from the alternitive prize was still up and we are not aloud to take it down as they may get damaged. There is one white section of wall which had a block infront if it with a projector on top - we thought it would be best to shoot here, the only problem being that we would not have been able to get any long shots in. Its a good job that Annie joined our group as Lawrence has no idea how to work a camera, even though he could not film he still had an input as he was in the music video and helped alot, as well as my friend Siobhan.
After we had done a few takes of this shot I had an idea that it would be good to film infrount of three tv screen that were on the wall as we could edit me into them and use these shots through out the music video, Lawrence confermed that this could be possible and we started to film again making sure that we had a veritey of shots so that when it comes to editing we would be certain to have every type of shot that we need, including a long shot.
We finished this within the lesson and I also had time to be apart of Jays music Video.
We have decided that on Friday we would all come in as well as my friend Jess to film the other half of the music video, as it is a teacher training day we are sure that will we have one of the drama rooms to ourself and as we have no lessons we know that we will get all of the shots needed and this will only take a few hours.

10th December
Today, as Lawrence and I have two free periods and Media last lesson we planned to start filming for definite, I have brought in everything we need, and Lawrence has despaired. Im starting to get worried about filming and I have asked Jessica to help me start filming, as I want this to be done on time with out having to rush around last minute.

Wrecky Shots
15th December
Today we planned to take some wrecky shots, and start filimg some rough cuts to make sure that lawrence and myself will know everrything that we need to do when it comes to filming properly so that this can be done quickly and smoothly. I was not in today as I was feeling unwell but as soon as I am back in school we will start filming.
16th December
Today both Lawrence and myself are in school and we are both ready for filming, but due to a Citizenship lesson period one this cut a whole hour out of our filming which then meant we would not have enought time to get started, we started on a wrecky shots and planning where and when we could start filming. Our first idea was to film the first location in the schools gallery as this is all white and has alot of natural light which we could use, but due the alTURNERtive prize, there is still art work up in the gallery which wont be taken down untill after christmas, we spoke to Mr Ward who is incharge of the gallery and said that a wall had just been painted white in the senic doc and we could use that if we wanted. We are still going to ask if one of the pantings in the gallery could be taken down on the wall that we wanted to use, but if this is not possible we will use another white wall or film in the senic doc. Today we took pictures of both these locations.

Story Board 2
After I had come up with the new and simplier idea for a music video I needed to draw up a new story board, as well as including new shots as we counted the number on the old story board and we had only drawn up 35 which wasnt nearly enough, our new story board has over 100!

This week Lawrence and I was meant to start filming but because of the snow the school was clossed so there was no way of us filming becuase neither of us have a camera and our two locations that we are using are in school. Next week we are going to start filimg and do as much as we can to meet our deadline!
